And on the lee shore
   they were digging for more
   they were using the water
   to break up the stones
   when the girl came down
   it was before the sound
   of the weapon that fired
   at the man on the ground
  
   and they buried the man
   with his hammer in hand
   and they covered his grave with a stone
   now on the lee shore
   where the waves still roar
   stands a girl by the stone alone
  
   nobody knows what she's thinking
